@hindookissinger Interesting perspective is how much intellectual output India is able to produce compared to Latin American countries and even some European countries at much lower per capita incomes. Indian Republic should ensure its smartest people have as much space and freedom as possible!
@athreya49 @shrikanth_krish Only right way to do limitation is to reduce likelihood of Telangana 2023 like scenario where governments can get elected without doing well in cities - e.g. Gujarat 2017 where BJP was not dislodged in spite of being routed in villages. Our future lies in governing cities well.
@BarneyFlames 100 percent. Also why potential Indian Mark Zuckerbergs choose the path of multi-year grind for safe government jobs. India's elite class would be much more numerous and impactful if we just get comfortable with failing. Though some of that might come with increased gdp.
@arzandc@somnath1978 Right. Because American foreign policy elites absolutely don't have a track record of making decisions that don't suit their interests or their friends'
@BarneyFlames May be the correct framework to approach this is - Is there any multiethnic society other than USA that religiously protects the right to offend?
@pplsartofwar Weak guage of economic troubles I think, considering Twitter is primarily a rage outlet for people. It will be true regardless of economic context!
@ShazCoder@CeccCoal It's basically Core Comp Science plus Core Math applied to niche domains...if there was ever a time for people who like math and computers:)
@ShazCoder Still there. Most data science positions now demand much higher level of data engineering skills than before. We are migrating our on premise workloads to databricks ecosystem...
@aepau2@BarneyFlames ADP's chief economist did mention on Bloomberg that software developer category in their research doesn't include machine learning related jobs!
@Satvik_Pen @sumit_tiwari56 The assertion that 'opposition is demanding accountability' on agniveer rather than purely demanding it from political persuasion is nonsense. Any significant compromise on agniveer will have a commensurate impact on defence modernization.
@ShazCoder And where institutions matter is creating circumstances/stability where smartest/ most productive people in an enterprise have a free rein while managing extreme inequality that arises as a consequence, kind of opposite of what we saw communist dictatorships of 20th century do!
@ShazCoder Also clearest evidence that density of human capital is by far the most important factor in how far a country goes and for how long it stays there. Dutch for e.g. have for most part been in top ten richest per capita for 500 years!
