Not sure I agree with that. Compared to many platforms, the free version gives personal users A LOT!
Currently, AI is pretty expensive (Notion can't help that), and so they're gonna charge you more to use it in your workspace. The workspace is naturally a collaborative space for teams, so it makes sense that they market it as a "business tier" but you can obviously pay $25/mo and use it only for personal use.
And when I say AI is expensive. I've paid for other big well-known platforms in the past that charge way more than $25 ($60/70 on one) for their product with AI model access in them, and even then you're paying for a certain amount of tokens. You don't hit AI usage limits in Notion for $25...
You can do almost anything with AI (which is now incredibly powerful inside of Notion). Last I checked, people are loving it π
So I'll say to you what I say to the other haters: if you don't know how to use Notion, that's fine. Just say you don't know how to use it.
There's a misalignment in expectations here. Because you know AI is powerful, and so you continue spending the time figuring out how to get more and more out of it. But the typical 'Notion is too complicated to do anything with' crowd, open it and say "wait, it's not apple notes". Correct. It's not Apple notes π€ͺ
Nah, I can't cosign that I'm afraid. TickTick would be insane or rather Notion would be insane if it had a TickTick style UI on the front end pulling from it's back end workspace.
Most annoying thing ever is how awkward Notion is to use for task/project management from you phone. It's the only reason I pay for TickTick in the first place. For personal task management when I'm not on my laptop.
They've integrated a calendar and mail app. Kinda bizarre they've not done a decent task app too. They could pull in the entire audience that uses the task apps and aren't excited about having to build stuff in Notion. Then many would get involved and warm up to it once their in using the TickTick portion. It could be HUGE!!
@adityadotdev The UX still sucks though. It doesn't even group your chats inside of each gem. They should have put this effort into that kind of stuff. Extremely poor!
Not interested until you fix your atrocious UI and put it in line with the other top LLM companies. You seem to be putting a lot of effort into modernised logos and connecting apps through AI within the ecosystem, but we still have to use the Gemini app. I currently have to use a chrome extension just so I can group chats into folders, on desktop only. Embarrassing!
It is, but the usage limit issue is poor. They make more revenue now than OpenAI but dont include anything like image generation, voice AI (exists but not used as it's so bad), and still they have to ration out usage compared to CGPT never really hitting limits π€¦π»ββοΈ frustrating as hell!
@Akasheth_ Turn that into a context handoff skill either for a different LLM, like in this case, or for a different chat when Claude is having to scan too much context for every response it gives, which is burning through your usage limit.
