@IndiaDionna I had many rounds of brain surgery between ages 14-16, and I had an indian neurosurgeon who also meticulously braided my hair out the way before he operated so that he wouldn't have to shave much of it, because he had little girls too. It really makes such a difference.

@bennessb Reading, and the words start going blurry and incomprehensible, and you realise you're falling sideways in your chair and going unconscious but you jolt awake and try to keep reading but your head hurts and you still don't know what that 1 sentence in the book is after 10 minutes

This caught my attention. At first some of it seems funny. ‘Gtfo’ ‘pretend to be possessed’ ‘say mom’ or ‘poop your pants’ But theres a serious undertone to it. Young girls are taught to fake a seizure to because men will not take no for an answer. It is so heartbreaking.
