I’ve learned so much in the last year, more than I ever wanted to know. I’ve also bought a house, met some amazing people, enjoyed my work and watched my children grow, so it wasn’t a total write-off. Hoping 2024 is a considerable improvement for everyone.
@Unnamedinsider This is actually a very reasonable response. Thank you for not shouting at me. It’s a tough time to be Jewish (yes, and Palestinian too).
@iamrofe WHENEVER I hear someone say something like this, I want to start an extended lecture on the reverse pyramid structure. But I won’t. Just know it’s hanging in the air 😂
I don’t blame anyone for feeling overwhelmed by the news and just wanting to switch it off.

@DPJHodges Dan, we are living in fear right now. But thank you. At least we don’t have to fear everyone. You know what my biggest fear today is? That Israel will hit back with something even worse and we’ll be somehow held responsible for that too.
For those who don't think what's going on in Israel impacts on the UK's Jewish population, wait until you hear about the security needed to protect CHILDREN at Jewish schools around the UK.
Here’s my two cents on Synapse: we actually want all those PR emails. We can’t use most of them, but we still read and want them. Getting fewer won’t increase the number we use.
