@LgjCrawford1010 @heymrsbond We hope that, with our new mayor and newly appointed Board of Ed, we will move away from student based budgeting and fund library positions centrally. But then there's an infrastructure problem... We have to rebuild the libraries. Huge investment.

@LgjCrawford1010 @heymrsbond The few librarians we have are part of our union. It's due to our terribly inequitable funding model--student based budgeting. When principals have to choose between employing enough core content teachers and funding a librarian position, we lose the librarians.
