- go to sleep at a reasonable time
- wake at my usual 5:30/6am on Wednesday - so 12:30-1am on the East Coast
- watch & stress through the morning, while trying to work, until decision is announced

@drclairetaylor Electric kettles are available in shops in the US, but most people don’t have them. Generally, people have a kettle that they heat on the stovetop to boil water. And they have a coffee pot or some other form of coffee maker.

@SketchesbyBoze @RuthMBuchanan Yes, but it doesn’t ensure they will grow up to be bibliophiles. I raised 4 kids with massive exposure to books of all sorts and spent untold hours reading to them all. One is a massive bibliophile, far surpassing me, one is a good reader, and two barely read any books at all.

@AccountableGOP Right, when his attempted insurrection on January 6th failed, he left the White House in a huff, skipping the inauguration ceremony and continues to this day to spread lies about the election being stolen. Totally normal stuff.
