RealVNC now requires an account to do literally anything. Even if you just want to mass with your Raspberry Pi. This is ridiculous.
And they do have the download option for the old version but kept it behind a paywall??? wtf?
My theory is that Liquid Glass & Icon Composer started as a design tool solely for the Photos app icon, and people liked messing with it so much they were like screw the consequences let's just build the entire OS design language on top of this
Millions of Apple devices are regularly destroyed because institutions dump them without disenrolling from remote management, which bricks them from further use.
Apple's agreement requires removal, but institutions don't bother, and Apple doesn't enforce it.
There are still two GPIO pins left after installing the DPI screen. I’m thinking about reusing all the switches from the original board with a bridge micro-controller, so I extended those pins. But I’m pretty happy with what I already have.
My take on @ThisDoesNotComp 's WonderMac project. My version reuses the charging circuit and adds sound support.
I use a DC-DC converter to increase the voltage to 5V. And the sound is from a USB DAC. Since it runs on battery, I also reused the floppy part as the power switch.

Also iOS: The toggle <input /> can have the "switch" attribute, which makes the phone vibrate when you toggle it -> people build the entire haptic library on top of this fact.
