After this tweet JJ McCarthy became the first player in NFL history to account for 3 TDs in the 4th quarter of his debut.
This is his 4th win against Ohio State since arriving at Michigan.
I enjoy Mr. Brightside as a song.
But it’s not a stadium pump up song. The players don’t get amped up for it going into the 4th quarter.
Other stadiums have much better anthems in my opinion, and I wish we would change ours.
@Kinetik615 2024 Ohio State
- lost 2 games
- did not win their conference
- lost their only rivalry game
- lost to an unranked opponent at home
No Natty Champ has ever even done 3 of those. Ohio State did all 4 and needed an expanded playoff
People who thought there was gunna be a big hammer dropping and that something would alter Michigan football forever weren’t paying attention.
There is no way to definitively prove it their actions helped them win football games and/or how significant it was.
Michigan DT Mason Graham was asked what are one or two plays from last season he’d want to show NFL teams…
Graham: “I mean, I feel like just rolling that Ohio State film. That’s all you need to see, really.”
Michigan finishes at 8-5.
Bad by program standards. And yet:
-Beat Minnesota for the Brown Jug.
-Beat MSU for Paul Bunyan.
-Beat NU for the Jewett trophy.
-Beat #2 OSU in historic upset.
-Beat #11 Bama in a bow.
Not sure any Michigan team got more bang for the buck.
NEW: Ohio state Rep. Josh Williams, introduced the O.H.I.O. Sportsmanship Act Tuesday...
The act would make it a felony offense to plant a flag in the center of Ohio Stadium💀

Just watched Connor Stalions doc, my thoughts:
1. Michigan won 40 games in 3 years, a national championship because they had elite players/ recruited best OL, top 5 QB, best defensive personnel
2. If you don’t hide and change your signals and/or use tempo changes, that’s on u. Both sides of ball.
3. I’ve had multiple games where we had every signal and got smoked
4. I’ve had multiple games where we had zero signals and smoked em
5. Connor stalions is not innocent. Going to scout in person and on sidelines is low class in the business. I think Harbaugh knew he was stealing signs but did not know the details of how.
6. Sign stealing decides very little in the results of a game
If the NCAA thinks the illegal sign stealing was the difference maker in the Wolverine's dominance the last 3 years (enough to vacate wins)...they're not watching football
