@mrraffel It’s important to remember even if your morning at home didn’t go as smooth as planned, the workplace is a new place and starting with a positive attitude can change someone’s else’s day for the better. #D54happy
@mrraffel@shawnachor Morning greetings are one of my favorite part of my day. I get a feel for how my students are feeling and can make sure I’m checking in on students who may need extra support that day. It’s also a quick way for students to tell me something about their morning. #D54happy
@mrraffel It can be as simple as smiling at someone as you walk by or doing a small gesture for someone. When you do something nice for someone, they are more than likely to do it for another person and so on. #D54happy
@mrraffel A4: I’ve been trying really hard to make a meal plan for the week and prep for it and to-go snacks on the weekends. Although it can be hard to do it on Sunday, it makes it much easier on weekdays getting home from work and being able to just to put everything together! #D54Happy
@mrraffel A3: By taking an extra minute out of the day to socialize with coworkers I may not see everyday. A quick interaction can change someone’s whole day! #D54Happy
@mrraffel A2: I am fortunate to have wonderful social connections that I value so much. Coming to work everyday with friends who are there for me makes me a happier person! #D54Happy
@mrraffel A1: Before I go to bed, I make sure my kiddos clothes are put out, my coffee is ready to be made & my lunch is ready to be packed. This makes the mornings run a lot smoother!
@mrraffel A4: When I break down tasks and write them down, I get motivated when I complete a task to cross off of my list. I then look more forward to the next task to cross off and it keeps me motivated to keep going. #D54happy
@mrraffel A3: Writing list of to-do’s for school & home. There’s always dozens of things that need to get done, but having them written down helps me feel like I have accomplished something and can move onto the next thing. #D54happy
@mrraffel A2: In teaching, there are lessons that are spot on and lessons that need to be retaught. Reteaching can be tough but when you see it click with students, it makes it worth it. #D54happy
@mrraffel A1: Focusing on the positive rather than the negative has an impact on how we move throughout our day. It goes back to the glass half empty or half full. Changing your mindset can change your whole day for the better!
@mrraffel A4: Trying to slow down and cherish every moment. When my little ones want to read one more book or want me to lay with them a little longer, I think of how lucky I am that I’m the one they want to be with in that moment. #D54HAPPY
