@therealskriggo @samsona7777 @clarisselou Star Wars, to take an example relevant to this discussion, has always appealed to a wide as possible audience. It was a mega blockbuster. Empire was the highest grossing film of 1980. It didn't get that way by appealing only to a small niche of mega nerds.

@lone_rides Giant popular culture juggernauts developed to appeal to families are not safe spaces for men to work on their mental health. They are products for people to buy. If men have to go to Star Wars for their mental health we have a bigger problem than women "invading" need spaces.

@GlammaSooz @Elliesaurusreck @Logically_JC Translating "the votes of all the people across the country" to "population centers" is an interesting rhetorical move but it doesn't change the fact that the EC doesn't make it so that "everyone is represented." A direct vote would do that.
