Attended the OT show with 2 wonderful inpatient OTs in my team - informative couple of days , sharing all things OT! Lots of sign posting resources, thought provoking talks and plans to develop our service! #OTShow2022
If you have a passion for mental health and are a band 5 OT looking to develop your OT skills there’s still time to apply for our role in our team 💚 https://t.co/YSU7wHVN5a
Useful article shared by one of our team. I'm proud to be in a profession which sees the environment as a key aspect to be analysed and adapted when supporting support health and wellbeing https://t.co/QvJnLGlWN8
Generous hand crafted donations from Christchurch WI - Ear savers for staff to stop surgical masks being uncomfortable and knitted hearts and flowers for service users to send to their loved ones who cannot visit 🌸💕 #kindnessmatters#nhs#earsavers#christchurchbelles#COVID19
@OT_Expert Still working in inpatient mental health and there’s a lack of guidance about what will happen at present. Some service users are experiencing more anxiety and others paranoia, convinced they are infected when they are not. We are reassuring, educating and promoting good hygiene.
Enjoyed attending the launch of the NAPICU OT network, meeting lovely OTs and sharing experiences. At present, there is a lack of research evidencing the effectiveness of practice in PICUs, an area I’m keen to develop. Thank you @icancreativity#napicu#otrole#networking#cpd
CQC were in yesterday and asked to speak to OT 😬. They have decided not to visit my ward, but it still gave us an opportunity to talk about some of the great work the OT team have been doing (and share some of our service improvement projects anyway!) #goteam#innovativepractice
@erinnnn14_OT They will normally you ask you the difference between a band 5 and 6 role and what you are able to offer in order to step up to the higher band :)
