@susi2431 Do you know what’s going on with the Great Streets Grant by chance? The original timeline had awards happening in April, but then they extended the deadline, and since then there hasn’t been any communication or an updated timeline shared with applicants. Thanks!

ICYMI, Pooja Bavishi, founder of Malai, whipped up an on-air ice cream party on @fox5dc#GoodDayDC this morning. No joke, Malai’s flavors are outstanding. I had ice cream for breakfast, and it was the best. thing. ever.
Opening this Saturday @ noon!

This morning, @wamu885 management informed us they are laying off 15 vital people from our organization. These individuals are the lifeblood of our journalism. Our hearts are broken. We can’t believe we are losing our colleagues and friends.
Now that the news is out that @dcist is dead and 15 great people will lose their jobs, some truths. No one at @dcist/@wamu885 was ignorant of the tough realities of media. But this is more a failure of leadership than anything.
