Sen. Tina Smith D-MN just chased down Sen. Mike Lee R-UT, who tweeted multiple times in recent days that Democrats were to blame for the Minnesota shootings
This is exactly the kind of dangerous and harmful rhetoric we need everyone to call out and condemn.
This is the watershed moment where things need to change.
This was posted one day after my friend — one of Minnesota’s elected representatives — and her husband were assassinated in a politically-motivated attack. One day after another elected representative and his wife took 17 bullets from the assassin.
We cannot accept this from a sitting United States Senator. Everyone – on both sides of the aisle – needs to condemn this.
We cannot normalize political violence in America.
Research doesn’t just live in labs. It supports jobs and boosts local economies. Cutting NIH funding could hit nearly half of all U.S. counties with over $200,000 in losses. Trump’s gutting of NIH will take money out of our communities, and put scientific progress on pause.
OBGYN here 👋
Brad Schimel is a threat to women’s health and reproductive freedom.
Judge Susan Crawford, on the other hand, has fought to protect access to care and defended reproductive rights.

New Dem @KellyMorrisonMN is already getting things done! 💪
As the first freshman Democrat to pass a bill this Congress, her bill will help rural small businesses access disaster relief and stay afloat.
New Dems like Rep. Morrison will continue delivering results for Americans.
15,000 fewer nights of safety for domestic violence victims.
That would be the impact if the Trump-Vance federal funding freeze goes through. @MissionsIncProg relies on federal support for one-third of its domestic violence support services. Cuts like these leave survivors with nowhere to turn.
I had the opportunity to visit Missions Inc. Programs, a Minnesota-based domestic violence program that provides housing, emergency shelter, and supportive services for survivors of domestic abuse and individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
A heartfelt thank you to the Missions Inc. Programs staff for welcoming me and sharing so openly about the devastating impact Trump’s federal funding freeze could have on the survivors they support. Your work is critical, and it was an honor to hear your stories.
OBGYN here --
RFK is propagating dangerous misinformation that is harmful to patients.
For my entire 20+ year career as a practicing OBGYN, mifepristone has been used as a safe and effective medication.
President Trump's illegal freeze on federal grant, loan, and other financial assistance programs is causing widespread confusion and concern.
While a federal judge has temporarily paused this freeze from going into effect, we are working to learn more and are committed to fighting back.
If you are in MN-03 and concerned that this federal funding freeze could affect you or your organization, we want to hear from you. You can fill out this form here: https://t.co/8cfJZ5P7fU
HR21 is a cruel attack against parents who are facing one of the worst days of their lives.
As an OBGYN who has had the honor and privilege of caring for patients for more than 20 years, I spoke out against this shameful legislation.
In Minnesota, we don’t let a little snow stop us—and we won’t in DC either.
Today, I participated in certifying the presidential election results. Defending the Constitution and ensuring a peaceful transfer of power is the bedrock of our democracy. Ready to serve MN-03! ❄️
Hi friends, I’m Dr. Kelly Morrison, and I’m truly honored to represent the people of MN-03 in Congress. As a doctor, mom, and 6th-generation Minnesotan, I’m ready to fight for our community in Washington.
Today, I was sworn in. Follow along as we start this journey together!
Just back from New Member Orientation in Washington! I am so grateful to my campaign manager and now Chief of Staff @MeganHondl for all of her hard work on the campaign and now on preparing to serve the people of Minnesota’s Third District!
The Democrat is set to become the first OB-GYN who supports abortion rights elected to Congress
She has tapped Minnesota native @MeganHondl to lead her office as chief of staff
“I ran for office for the first time in the wake of Trump’s 2016 election because I was so concerned as an OB-GYN about the implications for reproductive healthcare.”
@Morrison4MN discusses being the first pro-choice OB-GYN elected to Congress.
