Cultural touchstone. Great taste. Shrewd personality profiler. Tall. Excited about everything. The greatest game ever played was on a Wednesday in Cleveland.
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again: the problem with Rory and people like him is that he has an IQ of 110 and thinks he has an IQ of 130. This false arrogance drives so much elite failure over the last 40 years.
@DonnyApocalypse@hutchinson Because it helped you all along. Then you realize you’ve worked so long and are further behind than you thought. I just crafted this thought in a different tweet but you said it better than I.
@hutchinson And when you are a white guy that has benefited from the system your entire life to realize what? It was for nothing; wanting to contribute to a society that lifts all boats turns your tide. And then your wife votes the same to keep the peace. She’s tied to you too.
@hutchinson It’s the age when you realize you’ve worked for 25 years and the retirement accounts have grown but in order to do it, it’s gonna be another 25-30 more. AND at the same time technology has outpaced your skills, hiring 3 young guys could replace you w/o experience.
@PhillipSmithx@Recru1t1ng_Guru Please do not ask an alum on the decades Illinois lost in state recruiting to out of state schools. As much as we’d like to think U of I is a blue blood school, the state all Americans just wanted to play for bigger programs. I love the new recruiting strategy
On a $34 cowboy hat, squirt-gun fights, failed net cutting, honorary Balkans, arranged Croatian marriages and lots and lots and lots of cussing.

@SKrunchB@CortesSteve Hi. Very familiar. They do not qualify to receive financial aid so they are paying for it somehow, usually private loans. They also make a far lower salary than their American colleagues for the same position bc the company is holding sponsorship over their heads. Profit wins.
