Exceptional people are rare. When you find someone wonderful, invest in them.
-When you find a great employee, pay them well.
-When you find a great friend, prioritize the relationship.
-When you find a great spouse, out-love them each day.
Relationships are probably the most important part of life. Take care of the great ones.
The X-LAB GT8 is value monster..
what does the 10k$ plus bikes add more?(MOG or Allied able or any other??)
$3,199 gets you:
→ carbon frame with storage + fork
→ Shimano GRX715 1x Di2 electronic shifting!
→ Carbon wheels (Branta C45)
→ Power meter
→ 55mm tire clearance.
@LucGrefte yes thankyou now i understand. in terms of absolute aero drag percentage on each rider ..... you are correct.
but the total power output needed is signifcantly still less by pidcock because rider drafting saves way more than the moto adds. Pidcock still has the easier ride.
@LucGrefte I wanted to learn and have a serious convo.. do the match yourself and do the compounding affect of drag..
happy to change if you can provide counter data.
literally pidCock was having an arm chair ride. i love pidcock btw
@LucGrefte just rationally asking how? i honestly want to know...
Pidcock has more draft in this sense that pogi was essentially a moto to him.
pidcock literally said that. so no chase group issue and pidcock did less wt/kg than pogi. what am i missing.
i can run those numbers as well.
@LucGrefte NO. not underselling but 15 watts difference is not enough for catch
At ~470 W and 36.7 kph on the 2026 model:
dP/dv = (F_gravity + F_rolling) + 1.5 × ρ × CdA × v² = 29.6 N + 42.2 N = 71.8 W per m/s
So 15 W buys you 15 ÷ 71.8 = 0.21 m/s
Δ = 7 seconds over the full 3.7 km climb.
@LucGrefte this is true.. i am no expert but got all relevant data and ran numbers with claude without wind, pogi weight 66kg, poggio time 5.45, y1rs bike cda etc etc... the difference is less than 2.5%(15 watts with real wind on poggio that day) with motos at 10mts.
without wind its 6.5%
@C1aranMurray@LucGrefte i am no expert but i put everything in claude with pogi system weight and y1rs and actual poggio times and motos at 10-13 mts ... with wind the differnce is less than 2.5% watts saved which is less than 15 watts at 10mts ... what we see from video.
@MichaelDP1702@LucGrefte i asked Claude to see what practically the savings are and with values from ammati and all the stats... y1rs pogi at 66kg, time 5.45.
the real saving without wind is less than 6% and with wind consideration is 2-2.5%
the picture attached is with zero external wind in account
@OlsenCycling not actually insane... i asked Claude to see what practically the savings are and with values from ammati and all the stats... y1rs pogi at 66kg time 5.45
the real saving without wind is less than 6% and with wind consideration is 2-2.5%
the picture is with zero wind in account
@WheelWilliam@kashyap286 It’s called attention grab by dunkin on someone good….
Literally zero value added from this tweet apart from random criticism.
sad attention seeker.
commenting because people should seek trading value from twitter rather than this comical charade.
