As a result of rising COVID-19 numbers, I am asking everyone to limit their trips outside of the home, except essential reasons like going to work, school, getting groceries, or for medical appointments. Families should not allow visitors to their homes & avoid social gatherings.
On my family medicine rotation, I cried in my preceptor's office in front of him for 20min after a racially-charged situation with a patient. That did NOT make me a lesser candidate when I applied to family medicine & I am fortunate to have had a great preceptor in Dr Jeff Allin.
I just looked up my ballot online and saw it was rejected because of something re my signature. I called and was able to fix it with a series of identity confirming protocols. If you live in a state where you can check on your ballot online please do! I never would have known.

Instead of shaming & blaming, I asked them what challenges they’re currently facing with respect to the pandemic.
After 100s of replies, some key themes emerged. Here they are:
The longer we wait to do something differently in Ontario, the more impactful that “something” will need to be.
If we don’t move quickly, there is a greater chance of needing to:
-close schools
-limit non-emergent health care
-close businesses
