@MeghnaKumar10 Absolutely! Esp if you think of the rule as the meaning making part of the exercise; legal reasoning as one way of making sense of the world, but you could apply a different meaning making framework to arrive at/reason towards different conclusions. There may be a paper in that!

And it comes as a surprise to many people that large chunks of the US constitution, for example, are just as uncodified as the UK constitution and are to be found in judicial decisions and statutes.
