@ScienceMagazine There is no such thing called western or indigenous science. There is science that got established by scientific method. If you think that something that is not established via scientific method is science, you’re doing politics not science. Evidence punch on face at the end.
@ScienceMagazine @paimadhu @seyeabimbola The problem with this argument is that it forgets the most fundamental thing: scientific method. It’s irrelevant who funds an individual study. Unless there is some twenty five other studies that are saying the same thing, it’s credibility is low. Focus on repeatability not fund
@ShekharGupta Is it so easy for you to switch from free marketeer to dictatorial?
1. Like all bans, Xi didn’t fix anything. He made tuition a black market.
2. Before going dictatorial, stop saying that you support free market. You don’t like the market, doesn’t mean your solution is better
@ScienceMagazine Science should not be subject to authority. When it comes to science, the duty of university is to be the platform of research. University itself should not take any stance. Faculty, students should be able to express opinions but admins like President should stay away.
@RichardDawkins@Wikipedia Mostly accurate. Better than almost any other source available for general public. May not be perfect in everything but covers wide perspectives in most cases.
@DrNadolsky Every obese person knows that it’s unhealthy to be obese unless s/he is too deluded. Those who’re saying being obese is healthy is deluded to think that general public will believe that. Those who’re worried about the publication is also deluded that public will believe it.
