I finally figured out what the Sprite Seat Backbling actually is-

I was so confused why you couldn't put Sprites in this. There's only an AI Sprite on it and a real seat inside.

turns out it's a mini-jetpack for The Guardian himself! It has a comfy seat inside and opens up, with a Thruster at the bottom. This is likely how The Guardians gets in and out of his Mech.

This means he can actually just sit in this little pod and fly around. I love it.
