@jasonfried If we stick to photography topic, โstreetโ and โsportโ photography require thousands of shots to produce few really good pictures.
Same can be applied here and sport photography is still a worthy profession
Someone reached out to me about my abandoned project: Draken https://t.co/hIf9z70w4c
While I abandoned it pretty quickly, itโs time to reflect on why I abandoned it.
Idea was relatively straightforward: every prompt via draken will spawn separate docker container to work on this promp, and duplicate claude session files that are mapped inside this docker. Claude will run in docker on copy of files there and you supposed to have more control and visibility into claude code changes.
But after using it myself for a few days, the verdict became clear, what I build was not useful. With current state of LLMs and agent harnesses, I rarely need to review or re prompt from a specific checkpoint. Itโs much faster to just stay in a single session and work iteratively, then try to be โsmartโ and branch from a session.
Some things just donโt need to be built, and I am very happy that Agentic engendering allows such quick iteration from idea to MVP.
Time well saved
@unclebobmartin@theo Same, tried codex sub to use with Pi when CC drama started, and itโs actually good! ( both Codex sub for external agents and gpt5.5)
@nik_ska There is usually so many projects in comments and everyone is building something, no wonder github is struggling. Thats the real desperation signal!
I did experiment and posted to those x acounts which asks โwHaT aRe YoU bUiLdInGโ, then tracked clicks, result is 0.
Theory proved.
