Announcement 1 - Airdrop distribution.
Live within 7 days.
What a fun few weeks it's been. While we've certainly benefitted from many airdrops in the past, these last 2 weeks have really shown us how much effort it takes for managing an airdrop correctly, and with some differentiation.
As Armani said recently "start thinking about distribution. No matter what project you're part of, get out there and spread it like wild fire."
The dev team have been pushing hard making sure the Merkle tree construction and programs are working as expected and getting data prepped.
Something which is very evident looking at some of the largest airdrops in crypto, is more wallets & a greater percentage distribution is a good thing. Currently there are 220,000+ wallets eligible across 8 different chains for 15% of the BSKT supply.
We're splitting the airdrop into 2 categories. Solana airdrops and non-solana airdrops.

Community Inclusion
The following communities will be eligible for the airdrop.
- @bonk_inu Bonkmas reward recipients.
- @JupiterExchange holders with more than 200 JUP in their wallet. We've included those with LP positions in @KaminoFinance and @MeteoraAG . We have excluded anyone lending their JUP.
There are going to be people that do not receive it as the snapshot had already been taken before we announced.
- @solanamobile Saga 1 Genesis holders & Saga 2 - Leaderboard snapshot 1 & 2.
- @SolanaMBS gen 2 holders and @MonkeDAO gen 3 holders.

Discord: Snapshot taken. There are 347 users that have verified with Matrica so far. There was a minimum holding requirement of 2M BSKT to receive the role. Verified Discord users in the current snapshot will receive a 2M BSKT airdrop. We have allocated BSKT airdrop for the first 1000 verified users. ⌛️
Telegram: We have collected the names of the first 1000 users that have joined and activated the bot this morning to collect their wallet addresses.
Twitter: Engagement. We're watching. There will be ongoing distribution to our engaged and most curious supporters. We will also be weighting the community distributions above based on how interested they are in the airdrop. 🤝
Event Attendance: We'll be attending and sponsoring crypto events in 2024 and will be airdropping to any user that comes to us with their @Backpack app open on their phone. WAO. We're fervent supporters of what @yver__ and @armaniferrante are building.

The claim process (Solana)
This is where education meets patience. We're trying something different. We are vesting the airdrop over a 30 day period. You can claim your entire airdrop at the end of the 30 day period, you can claim once per day or you can claim at any point for tokens that have vested, but not yet claimed. This is a current mock up of what you'll see when the site page goes live.
We will leave the claim site live for 7 days after the claim period ends. Any tokens not claimed will be burned.

Claim process (EVM)
Due to the transaction cost on @ethereum we can't expect vested airdrops to make sense for users. We will have a one time claim portal for EVM users available at the end of the 30 day Solana vesting period. They will receive BSKT on the same chain of their NFT.
