ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના અધ્યક્ષ માન. શ્રી @ChaudhryShankar જી ની અધ્યક્ષતામાં “એક પેડ માઁ કે નામ-3.0” (એક વૃક્ષ, એક સંકલ્પ, હરિયાળું ગુજરાત આપણું લક્ષ્ય) તથા “ગ્રીન અરાવલી” અભિયાન અંતર્ગત અંબાજીમાં અરાવલી પર્વત, ગબ્બર રોડ ખાતે આયોજિત “મેગા પ્લાન્ટેશન-૨૦૨૬” કાર્યક્રમમાં પર્યાવરણપ્રેમી નાગરિકો સાથે ઉપસ્થિત રહેવાનો અવસર મળ્યો.

ગબ્બર વિસ્તાર સહિત બનાસકાંઠાના જંગલ અને ડુંગરાળ વિસ્તારોને હરિયાળા બનાવવાની દિશામાં વ્યાપક વૃક્ષારોપણ હાથ ધરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે ત્યારે વન વિભાગના અધિકારીઓ, કર્મચારીઓ, વનરક્ષકો અને શ્રમિકો દ્વારા દુર્ગમ વિસ્તારોમાં ખાડા કરી વૃક્ષારોપણની કામગીરી કરવામાં આવી રહી છે, જે પ્રશંસનીય છે.

‘એક પેડ માં કે નામ’ અભિયાન અંતર્ગત લોકો વૃક્ષારોપણ કરીને પ્રકૃતિ સંરક્ષણમાં જોડાઈ રહ્યા છે. ગબ્બરને ‘ગ્રીન ગબ્બર’ બનાવવાની સાથે કુદરતી પર્યાવરણ અને જૈવવિવિધતાનું જતન કરવાનું મહત્વપૂર્ણ કાર્ય કરી રહ્યા છે. આગામી સમયમાં ૫૧ શક્તિપીઠોને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને ૫૧ લાખ વૃક્ષોના વાવેતરનું લક્ષ્ય રાખી તે દિશામાં આગળ વધવા સૌને આહ્વાન કર્યું.

આદિવાસી સમાજ અને જંગલ વચ્ચેનો સંબંધ વર્ષોથી અતૂટ રહ્યો છે. જંગલ સંરક્ષણની સાથે આદિવાસી સમાજને રોજગારી અને સ્વરોજગારની તકો ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવાની દિશામાં વન વિભાગ દ્વારા મહત્વપૂર્ણ કામગીરી હાથ ધરવામાં આવી રહી છે.

આદિવાસી પરિવારોને સ્થાનિક સ્તરે જ કામ અને રોજગારી મળી રહે તે માટે આંગણવાડી, મંડપ, સોલાર લાઈટ, ગ્રામ બેઠકના ઓટલા, આરસીસી રોડ, શૌચાલય, સેવાકીય સુવિધાઓ, લાઈબ્રેરી, સ્મશાનભૂમિ તથા મંદિર આસપાસના વિકાસકાર્યોમાં સ્થાનિક આદિવાસી કારીગરો અને શ્રમિકોને પ્રાધાન્ય આપવામાં આવશે.

આ કાર્યક્રમમાં જિલ્લા પ્રમુખ શ્રી વસંતભાઈ પુરોહિત, ધારાસભ્યશ્રી માવજીભાઈ દેસાઈ, જિલ્લા કલેકટરશ્રી મિહિર પટેલ, જિલ્લા પોલીસ અધ્યક્ષશ્રી પ્રશાંત સુંબે, વન વિભાગના અધિકારીશ્રી - કર્મચારીઓ સહિત જિલ્લાના અધિકારીશ્રીઓ-કર્મચારીઓ, સેવાભાવી સંસ્થાઓના પદાધિકારીઓ, સંગઠનના આગેવાનો, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તેમજ બહોળી સંખ્યામાં નાગરિકો ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા.
