@clairevo Will 100x output create the best products or happiest customers? If optimizing for throughput, we may get more production but less human creativity and differentiated thinking. If AI ultimately produces more groupthink, that would be a shame. Happy to be wrong. Good luck to them.
@kevinyien The companies seemed to shift from selling a vision to selling a roadmap, back to selling a (different) vision. the most enthusiastic users are essentially the PMs trying to sell an MVP. Not sure who is selling the roadmap now?
@hnshah Is this at least partly because design is under represented in enterprise software? And when it’s taken more seriously later, design debt is already too high? (Along with tech and product debt)
@hnshah To use your analogy, probably need the right mix of batman and robin to shape and facilitate how conversations are had, since skill levels in this area will vary across leaders and teams.
@evanlapointe Jira’s complexity reflects the messiness of companies that use it. Linear/Notion customers are more intentional about proj mgmt practices, preferring an opinionated product. Jira succeeds because most orgs aren’t this way. Its bloat has met customers’ needs. But needs change.
@eldsjal I haven’t had luck using chatgpt for curated music recommendation based on specific criteria, so interested to give this a try once it hits US
@_alice_evans I learn a lot not only from what you share, but how you share it. I hadn’t fully considered that it may be due to NOT jumping in the raging river of current events/social media takes, but I think it’s a feature of your work, not a bug. Keep it up!
