@Tjsrichman @crimlawuk Exactly. It’s difficult for a child to excel at school if their family do not value education. I have parents that refuse to do simple things like read a book with their child as it’s the teacher’s job. Every year the gap widens.

@Justice30 @LBC @LBCNews New teachers are usually ill with sore throats and colds until their immune systems build up and that was before Covid. Not sure how they can say children do not spread Covid if they have it. They are often do not even show symptoms. 🤷‍♀️

@paceman76 @LBC @LBCNews I understand why schools were closed however he promised internet and devices for children in need so that they didn’t get left behind educationally. Never happened. Too much money to invest in our young people but can give contracts to their mates. 🤷‍♀️

@Justice30 @LBC @LBCNews Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately most schools do not have ventilation systems and some free schools don’t even have purpose built buildings. We were advised to keep the windows and doors open and teach outside as much as possible.

@10DowningStreet Bubbles can be over 100 children but you can’t have more then 30 people at your wedding. Also, are our children not as good or trustworthy as those abroad? Why would they be unable to use a mask properly? They said that about adults and here we are wearing them (some anyway).

The Gov website in the link I posted only shows deaths within 28 days. Consistency across the 4 nations would be a lot better.

That to me is odd as I thought people can be unwell for quite a while before they pass away. Does that really mean Covid didn’t accelerate their deaths? 😔
