Hi everyone, I'm Mel, one of Chibby's artists.

A little over two weeks ago, I was involved in a traffic accident that left me with a broken collarbone and a head injury. The person who hit me only covered my medication for the first couple of days before disappearing. I knew he was struggling financially, so I didn't pressure him to pay all the medical expenses at once. Unfortunately, he took advantage of that kindness and ran away after taking responsibility for only two days of medication.

I wanted to make this post to sincerely thank everyone in the Chibby and Monad communities who donated to help me and my father get through these difficult two months until my collarbone fully heals.

I'd also like to thank everyone who checked in on me, encouraged me, and comforted me when I was feeling overwhelmed both financially and emotionally. As I continue to recover, I'll do my best to return to creating and contributing to the Chibby collection again.

Most of all, I'm incredibly grateful to Sari-chan. We've been working together for the past year, and she was the one who rallied everyone to help and support me. She has a truly kind heart, and to me, she's a beautiful person inside and out.

Thank you all so much. I will never forget your kindness.
