@midwestbimbo I lost my mom in December, and when I went to the grocery store to get a silly card for my secret pal at work last week, I was surrounded by mother's day cards and gifts, and I almost started bawling my eyes out in the middle of the aisle.
@MelanieCmusic@Sharpie When my friends and I were 12, waaaay back in 1998, we dressed up as the Spice Girls (I was you!) and danced at our school talent show. We even practiced all of your signatures and attempted your accents (Americans, so I'm sure they weren't great, haha).
@RemyNY@hugefarm I saw them in concert in June 1998. My friends and I did a dance routine for our talent show. The girl who played Geri went to the concert with me. Geri quit just a few weeks before the concert, and I remember calling my local radio station and asking them if it was true. 😭
@daylightsdrivin Exactly! A lot of people are likely taking the train. It's a bit pricier, but if I go, I plan on staying at the hotel I stayed at the last time I stayed in NYC. It's a 2 minute walk from MSG, and then I'd be taking an early train home the next day.
@Somakethefriend I would absolutely pay that for Taylor and the type of show she puts on. Add in the openers, and it's practically the length of a festival.
@afterlauqhter I know the small venues were definitely an issue, but I'm so grateful that she's playing Baltimore. I'm seeing her not that far away, for less than $90. I frequently look at my ticket just to make sure I didn't dream it all.
