@sierra_vrd It is the norm and it is absolutely not enough. I work enough over time that it ends up that I have additional days I can take off but it still never feels like enough
Took a mini social media break when things were quiet. Now everything is rush rush busy busy again and I’m back as a coping mechanism #imsotired#epitomeofhealth
@the_museumfolk People constantly touching the taxidermy animals and animal pelts right beside the “please do not touch” signs while on a tour with me right in front of them
Small museum twitter! Need your help & RTs. Has anyone produced a small museum guide book recently? Recommend any publishers? Have any advice? Would be grateful for any info you could offer, in DMs or otherwise. Thank you!
We’ve all stepped out of the #PlanningMeeting and realised that all the key points that matter to VE were missed.

@the_museumfolk @FoundInMuseums And when you finally work up the energy to go to the site and find a way to unsubscribe it asks you for a log in that you’re 99.99% sure you didn’t make
My museum has a paper register system that will be shifted onto our database but for now I’m dealing with a deep pile of confusion. Hoping technology can save me #jhumda#help
@try2crossme This made me feel a lot better. We have one staff (me) so it’s been one of our volunteers working on it (highly skilled, appreciate them so deeply) I just don’t want them to feel like this will be the rest of their life!
How long has y’all’s museums had your collections database? Are all your accessioned items logged or is this a process you’re still working on? (Asking bc I’m scared how long this is going to take my museum) #jhumda#museums
Canadian Indigenous languages were not intended to be written. A lot of the meaning comes from the spoken word. It is so great to see this recognized and reflected with technology use in an exhibit https://t.co/Zh4vZpqd7z #jhumda
