@jasonleowsg@threehourcoffee These sound like bigger goals that have many ways to get there. I feel it would be hard for AI to give you a practical list of subtasks to follow that will get you what you want.
The last one, for example has 2 goals in it, one dependent on another, and has many “solutions”
@MartheGoudsmit The closest web app I have found is Llama Life. It's fantastic and syncs with ToDoist but it doesn't have a phone app. For my iPhone I use one called Day Planner. It hasn't been updated in years but it's the closest thing but doesn't sync with any task manager, so manual input.
@llamalife I would love to have tags and contexts like “Work” and “personal” so that I make sure not to plan more than, say 5-6 hrs worth of work tasks a day. The tags would help build reports like “you spent 3 hrs working on xxx project”
@oliverburkeman@roberttwigger Have you written anything on this? I am struggling with the same also because of the idea that motivation “should” be intrinsic for achievement of “the thing” to be satisfying in the end. But, in the short term it doesn’t seem enough
