The writing style guides for journalists is constantly changing. @LAist has created their own guide that aims to be more inclusive. Personally, I found it interesting that using the terms "survivor" or "victim" could have a negative effect on the subject of the story #CSUN375

1) With the all on campus learning being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this spring semester was CSUN's students chance to get back to an on campus learning environment.
The campus reopened for in person learning for spring semester. To help combat the stress of in person learning and social anxiety, CSUN offers mental health resources and various campus activities.
