#tsunami - There has been a significant tide recession at Midway Atoll which is part of the Hawaiian Archipelago and the Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

There are ~40 Fish and Wildlife staff living on Midway Atoll. Highest elevation is about 18 feet above sea level
