@Kodaliras@luke17striker@Venti_no1fan How you know? J.K Rowling has said that it doesn't have one? The Crused Child demonstrated it could have alternative timelines. If you are not even a fan, then why do you even bother? Be respectful and let the people enjoy their fanfiction.
@ammonoid9 Good on you. Harry COULD have been a very good protagonist of a Shonen Sports manga. Again, Rowling is only good at world-building, but often fails at creating an actual narrative and a compelling story. lol.
@man_nobody15@revenant_MMXX Rowling basically created Draco as a punching bag for Harry and since Draco was based off her own bully J.K R had no intention of giving him a proper redemption arc.
Then she realised she can't finish the series without giving Slytherins SOMETHING hence the messed up ending.
@GenXYearns I want to see Ginny go completely rogue because of her obsession with Harry Potter, especially if her brothers refuse to help her win his affection. I might even add a subplot where Ginny makes a deal with Voldy himself to have Harry all to herself.
@Kodaliras@luke17striker@Venti_no1fan J.K Rowling has never said that the multiverse does not exists in the HP world. Besides, again, it is a fanfiction. Anything is possible in a fanfiction.
@Kodaliras@luke17striker@Venti_no1fan So you aren't even a HP fan. Time travel creates the famous Time Travel Paradox. The Cursed Child solved the Time Travel Paradox by creating alternate realities, including a dark timeline in which Voldemort won, which contradicts to what happened in the Prisoner of Azkaban.
@Kodaliras@luke17striker@Venti_no1fan If Rowling can retcon major tenets of the story and The Cursed Child is considered canon despite its contradictions, then alternate timelines clearly aren't beyond the realm of possibility in the HP universe. Besides, it's fanfiction. Anything is possible in fanfiction.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie >again it makes no sense
To you, maybe. However, his motive was very well explained in the books.
>defend your precious lucy
I am defending the details of the book, not Lucius.
@ForestFrost9 If they had given the fans a new Wuthering Heightsโstyle relationship between Snape and Lily, Black Snape might have worked, with the racism he experienced adding another layer of drama to the story. But we're getting none of that from the HBO series.
@jardiniernormie This is wrong. Draco stomped hard on Harry's face in Book 6. However, it is fair to say that Draco acted more like a female bully, especially early in the series. After all, Draco is based off J.K Rowling's own female bully.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie Then give a reference that backs up your claim that "he (Lucius) absolutely believed it would bring back his master & flip the world in his favor".
That seems like a claim made by a poser who doesn't read the books. lol.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie You may not know this, but Voldy certainly did. That's why he questioned Lucius's loyalty when Lucius claimed he hadn't recognised the Dark Mark at the Quidditch World Cup. Lucius had to explain himself to Voldy, too.
It seems clear that you don't read the source materials...
@ambafaerie I read the HP books and played the first V/N of the Fate series. I don't think you understand the dynamics between Rin and Shirou in the Unlimited Blade Works route.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie I honestly don't follow your logics here. You aren't disputing the fact that the Malfoys betrayed Voldy when the safety of own family members were theatened.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie His motivation seemed very clear - to ruin Arthur's reputation by using his daughter, knowing the diary could reopen the Chamber of Secrets. However, Lucius clearly never knew it was a Horcrux.
You gotta read the books, mate.
@backgroundraven@jardiniernormie So, you do accept that Lucius betrayed Voldy to protect himself and his family.
Pure-blood supremacy existed long before Voly, and Lucius's commitment to that ideology didn't mean unconditional loyalty to Voldy.
I'm also 100% certain Lucius had no idea the diary was a Horcrux.
