@JessieR2415@FredEnde@BernsteinCT@larrydlewis2424 Same! I'm finishing mine now and after reading my initial reflection, I'm humbled by the amount of growth that has occurred since my initial reflection. I can't wait to see how much more growth occurs throughout this program. #EDLR5402
Equity work is a journey, like many things in life. Continue to grow and evolve! Don't approach a situation defensively, but instead with an open mind and ear to listen. #EDLR5402@BernsteinCT
Still thinking about this line from @DrMarionWilson last night "Be strong, be courageous, and be authentically you!" Definitely something to always remember and strive for. #EDLR5402
@AronsKristine@mscipteaches7th I love that line! Teachers need to feel comfortable taking risks and learning from their mistakes. As leaders we need to do everything we can to build that type of culture. #edlr5402
"Educated, we would not necessarily change how the white world saw us, but we would change how we saw ourselves." Such a powerful line from @bellhooks#edlr5402
@TheBarbashShow 100%, although I do appreciate the opportunities we have had to collaborate and engage in discourse remotely, I do agree it’s not the same. I miss the in person conversations that flow naturally! #EDLR5402
"Be curious, not judgmental." In an interview today, this is how the candidate described their approach to collaboration & managing conflict. Such a great way to approach conversations without apparent common ground (or even ones where you know there is)! #EDLR5402#Leadership
@rachaeljuliano My school did a volunteer book club when we started implementing restorative justice practices. The book clubs took place during staff lunches/before school and after school. Attendance was pretty low but for the few who took advantage it was very powerful! #edlr5402
