Today, @cafreeland and our Liberal government will present Budget 2022 in the House of Commons.
Together, we’re focused on making life more affordable, growing a strong economy, and building a Canada where no one is left behind.
Internet access isn't a luxury anymore, but for many, it seems like it's priced like one. I'm glad to see the Liberal government taking action on this.
Internet is what brings us together & connects us with those we love.
Because affordability is top of mind, with my colleagues @KamalKheraLib & @Gudie, we worked to provide low cost connectivity.
That’s why this is going to be so important for low-income seniors and families.
Canada is beefing up its climate change plan. The emissions reduction goal is the most ambitious yet, but I'm especially glad to see measures that would help families directly, like funding for home retrofits, EV rebates, and support for farmers.

Today, Minister Guilbeault tabled Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan: Clean Air, Strong Economy, to help us meet our climate goals, while ensuring life is affordable for Canadians.

This just in: @CAFreeland will present our government’s budget next Thursday, April 7th. It’ll outline how we’re going to make life more affordable for you as we continue to create good jobs, grow the economy, and tackle climate change. Stay tuned.
This is long overdue – but still excellent news! 50 per cent reduction in fees by the end of the year, and then further cuts down to $10 per day within four years. Very proud of this Liberal government today, and excited to see how this transforms the way our economy works.
In 2021, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team made a commitment to make $10-a-day child care a reality for all Canadian families.
Less than a year later, we have agreements with all 13 provinces and territories.
