Joe Rogan says he no number believes in charities and that they’re a scam
“I used to think that charity was real, and now I look at it and I go, ‘Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no.’ This is a giant scam that's wrapped up in virtue”
“It's wrapped up in a nice cozy blanket of being kind and compassionate and virtuous and doing good things for people all around the world." — And then they find out how it really works… — some of them are making $1 million a year. And you're like, what is this? Yeah, what is this?
This is a business. This isn't really charity. Most of the money is going to your employees and your overhead. And why do you have such a big building? Like, what are you doing?”
It’s all a scam. Just look at these salaries of “charities”
Here are just 5 high paid charity nonprofit CEOs I found in the US
- Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, $6,979,162 (Selwyn Vickers)
- City of Hope & Affiliates, $5,460,799 (Robert W. Stone)
- American Heart Association, $4,563,563 (Nancy Brown)
- Shriners Hospitals for Children, $4,000,753 (John McCabe, Executive VP)
- National Jewish Health, $3,945,101 (Michael S. Salem)
Again the is only the CEO salary per year, then you add on everyone else’s salaries
It’s all a scam. These are really for profit companies funneling all the money into salaries and massive facilities like palaces. End the nonprofit loophole
Even smaller nonprofits like the San Diego Humane Society take in $72 million and spend $43 million on salaries, they pay their CEO $40,000 per month
Again, it’s what a scam

@MaryBowdenMD I had one mammogram in my life. The pain was horrific and I developed a hematoma. I still have a lump and pain there. You are foolish for this post.
