@easyjetapp2 EasyJet, this isn’t your doing. Our BA flight was cancelled and we’ve rebooked with easyjet.

2 BA cancellations in 15 days. A 4 hour delay turned into a cancellation at 2am. Still in Türkiye, no news from BA, so have rebooked with easyJet just to get back to work

I felt most sorry for the young family w a baby. They’d escaped the #rhodesfire on a boat from the beach. They were traumatised. They didn’t need a 4 hr BA delay+cancellation. I hope @British_Airways gets them clothes nappies & flight home ASAP (though doubt it)

#rhodesfire no idea if this is feasible, but there are ferries from Rhodes Town to Fethiye Turkey and plenty of holiday accommodation in the area…I have no idea if they are running today (no visa needed for Brits)

Arrived at LGW to find flight cancelled, BA staff on the ground but said go to check in they will help you.
Queued 30 mins at check in, all the lady did was hand us a piece of paper about compensation- no option to rebook with her - it was truly a computer says no experience.

Tried more hotels, no room in the inns, so drove home.
Got home - apparently my booking did go through (??!**), £434 for 2 rooms at the Crowne Plaza Felbridge.

Rebooked our flights with Easyjet for tomorrow 0625... there were no BA flights until Monday.

Big shout out to the lady @TheBodyShop Gallerija Belgrade for helping me restock after a lost luggage disaster and recommended other shops to go to, she did you proud
