Friday was my last day in the classroom until 2025. ✨ I’m taking my delayed maternity leave-which I’m so thankful to be able to do. But these kids make it so incredibly hard to leave. LOVED my first month with them and missing them hard today! Grateful to be home with my baby 🩵

Today we played hot seat in social studies! Each team had a team member in a chair. They had the vocabulary word up on the board and had to explain in words what the word is without using it. These kids blew me away! They were patient, kind, and used amazing vocab! #d15schools

Today we came up with a project to demonstrate our knowledge of some of the landforms and bodies of water in the world. 3D models with facts! I was so proud of their creativity with this project! #proudtobe15 #d15schools #5thgrade

We’ve had a fun week in 5th grade! We had our comfort dogs come so we could read and love on them ❤️, we had a fun longitude and latitude scavenger hunt, and ended with our starbooks! Thanks to all my amazing teammates for making a lot of this happen! 🥰 #d15schools

My students have been amazing to watch talk about culture! We are starting to look at what makes a person who they are using the ring’s of culture. Today the student’s went around the room and wrote/drew symbols for each ring without knowing all the words #proudtobe15 #tothecore
