No matter the different versions of patients you have encountered pretenders and real ones, each patient needs to be handled as them and not assumed or ignored.
My fellow twin mum has left behind a young family due to unimaginable negligence 🥲 KU referral nurses and doctors, you could and should have done something to rescue Lornah instead, you chose to belittle her suffering and accuse her of pretence 🤨 #JusticeforLornah
She complained of severe headache. Sadly, the nurses and doctors at KU referral accused her of pretending. HOW CAN A SICK PERSON PRETEND? This conversation happened on Friday #JusticeforLornah#KUreferral
#KUreferral Your medics need to understand that negligence is a crime against humanity. No matter how many patients you have seen cross to the other side, neglecting one in dire need of your experience and care is not an option. Act your calling!!! #justiceforlornah
ALLOW ME TO RANT!
Pictured below is my friend, Lornah Wanjiru. She was admitted at KU referral on Thursday after complaining of a throbbing headache. She passed away on Saturday at 7pm. No diagnosis... just NEGLIGENCE #justiceforLornah#KUreferral
When patients go to hospitals the only thing they need is a doctor's intervention and care. Making that patient lose hope is unacceptable.
This is a cry not to bring back Lorna because she has crossed to the other side but to prevent this from happening.

My friend's death hurts me. It was PREVENTABLE. And if not, at least the nurses and doctors should have responded to her cries of help and done something to ease her pain. Help me seek justice for Lornah. Repost and share. This should never happen to anyone #JusticeforLornah
#Justiceforlornah
Medics are called to save lives not to lose them out of negligence.
Not helping a helpless patient is inhumane and needs to be stopped.

As we come towards the end of the #GDDAfricaConf2023 Dr. Patricia Kingori, director CorpsAfrica left us a quote from Nelson Mandela to guide us. ~There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.
