BREAKING: Trumper Congressman Jim Jordan launches sinister plan to keep Trump out of prison, threatens to shut down the entire federal government unless Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases against Trump are immediately defunded.

In his unhinged rant, Jordan threatened that Republicans should only pass a bill to keep the government open if they can defund all “attacks on your political opponent, which is exactly what Joe Biden is doing when he’s funding this Jack Smith operation going after his political opponent.”

This stunning threat is a big mistake for Jordan because it clearly shows every American voter the real intent of their diabolical quest to shut down the federal government — to keep Trump out of prison by destroying the criminal cases against Trump and bringing the wheels of government to a halt.

That’s right. Jordan and his fellow Trump enablers are holding the American people’s government hostage and demanding Trump’s freedom as a ransom.

BREAKING: NBC drops bombshell, reveals that Republican 2024 presidential candidate Governor Ron DeSantis just abused his power by demanding that a federal judge delay Disney’s massive lawsuit against him until AFTER the 2024 presidential election.

But it gets even worse…

DeSantis also demanded that the judge simply THROW OUT Disney’s lawsuit against him because he claims that he has immunity that “shields” him from being sued for creating laws that target Disney for supporting America’s LGBTQ+ community.

They frame it that way relentlessly, and sad to say, lazy journalists buy into their framing. The debt ceiling needs to be raised to pay for all the spending the Republicans authorized in 2017 when they gave away a substantial chunk of the Treasury to their rich pals.

So now the time comes that we need to pay the country's bills incurred in the last several years and now coming due. But we're a little short on cash since we gave rich people more money, so now it's time for disabled and retired citizens to pungle up, and single mothers living close to the bone have to forego SNAP benefits. Because Kevin McCarthy couldn't possibly ask
mega billionaires to pay more.

The middle class should no longer carry the majority of the tax burden and the tax breaks for the rich. Let them pay their fair share for a change.

Now, McCarthy is trying to shift blame to DEMOCRATS.

Senator John Fetterman asked a serious question today, and many on Twitter can only mock him for stuttering. Please refrain from attacking someone for having verbal effects of a stroke. He asked a really good question.

Fetterman asked a Silicon Valley Bank executive if they should have work requirements for banks like Republicans want work requirements for SNAP (basically food stamps).

“Shouldn’t you have a working requirement after we bail out your bank?" he asked.

What is everyone's opinions on SNAP? Should what many call the greatest country on Earth really have more restrictions for people to just get a meal?

The food-stamp program already has work requirements for people the U.S. government defines as "able-bodied adults without dependents". It requires able-bodied adults between 18 to 49 and who don't have children to work 20 hours a week.

I get the fact that people take advantage of the system, but are more work requirements the answer? I'm genuinely curious.
