The GOP is dominated by straight, white, Christian males who suffer from the misapprehension that women are property; first of the father, then the husband.
People like that are the bad guys in my newest novella.
It's a perfect time to experience the catharsis revenge can bring.
If PBS, NPR, the AP, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal appear to be left-leaning from your perspective, it's well-past time for you to seek professional help, because you've slipped so far to the right that objective reality appears to be biased against your presuppositions.
A brief author reading from my novel, Innocence Ends.
I hope you enjoy it so much that you feel compelled to run out and buy a copy for yourself...and then the rest of my bibliography.
It's not huge, so don't worry, it won't set you back too much.

It seemed worthwhile to look at the healthcare impacts if/when the "Big Beautiful Bill" passes.
As you can see, there are some small bits of good mixed in with the bad...but none of those "good" things would be quite as necessary if it weren't for the "bad" aspects of the bill.
Character limits prohibit me from simply posting this here, but that's why screen captures are so wonderful.
I wanted to discuss the things people keep propping up as positive aspects of the Congressional Budget Bill...so, here you go.
I can't see this image without being reminded of my story, "Hell Is for Rabbits," the likely fan favorite from MAY CAUSE UNEXPLAINED OCULAR BLEEDING.
If you've read it, you'll definitely understand.
Following that recent interview from @realDonaldTrump, are we entirely certain he's not a Communist, because that motherfucker sure likes to be publicly owned.
Shared as a screen capture because of the character limits here.
I definitely didn't expect to spend a portion of my morning discussing sperm racing, but this is the world we live in.
@spermracing is a thing...a silly concept with a serious focus on declining fertility rates.
Maybe the Rapture happened in 2016...and there wasn't much to work with...so, along with Bowie and Prince...the angels decided to take Harambe as well...because there weren't any other humans deserving.
I woke up with the strange, yet undeniable realization that Superman/Clark Kent is uncircumcised. The Kryptonians--obviously--never participated in the mythological covenant Abraham made with Adonai...and no one on Earth could perform the necessary snipping of the foreskin.
It's hard to hear the markets crashing over the sound of so much winning!
I'd like to not kiss my 401K goodbye, but I'm starting to feel like I should have cashed it out and couple of months ago.
Well, that might be the high point of AuthorCon for me, sitting and talking with S. A. Cosby for half an hour or so...one of the two authors I consider to be the best writers working today...him and Stephen Graham Jones.
AuthorCon V hasn't even officially started yet...not until tomorrow afternoon...and I've already had the chance to see some people I haven't seen in more than a year & a half and meet quite a few others I've never had the chance to meet in person.
There's still three days to go.
Finally got a chance to shower & freshen up for the first time since roughly 1 AM Wednesday, before heading to work for the shift prior to me getting on the plane at PDX.
I'm safely in Williamsburg, VA and ready for AuthorCon...or as ready as someone like me can hope to be.
First, A.I. came for the visual arts, but I was not a visual artist, so I did nothing.
Next it came for the literary arts, but I was not a writer, so I did nothing.
Then it came for the musical arts, but I was not a musician, so I did nothing.
Since it's been decided that I will be showing up for Scares That Care in March, & @candace_nola has graciously offered to let me hang out at the Uncomfortably Dark table--while I do my best not to make other people uncomfortable as a byproduct of my discomfort--who will I see?
Just in case anyone receives their education in botany from Mr. Trump, I want you to understand no amount of water will keep tumbleweed from being a dry, uprooted nuissance...or a fire hazard.
That's part of Russian Thistle life cycle...the same as fluff is part of a dandelion's
