I will be a candidate, and MP, who hits the ground running:

🗳 I have outperformed national Labour Party trends in every election I stood in

🏥 I have made a difference for Calder Valley, leading a campaign that stopped the closure of our A&E department - despite our Tory MP trying to close it

😷 I have achieved change through the council too, making Calderdale the first West Yorkshire authority to commit to paying care workers the living wage

🏢 I know how to get things done as an MP. Working for a food bank campaign, I persuaded MPs in Westminster to get children fed in school holidays.
