Since this is my first time to see this , I can only seek clarity, why Avdullah was sent to Mohammad, is it cultural to sleep behind someone you are sent to.

At this point Mohammad is either sitting/ sleeping/standing with his back to Abdullah . He turns around to ask if he saw the man.
