Some areas of the campground were developing powdery dry soil and cracks. However, the marsh marigolds were doing well in the wetlands.

The spring period was hot, windy and brief. One just hopes the insects were as busy as it appeared they were, in which case there should be a good set.

@Enzoagogo Summer drought is real up here, too. First rain of the year today. It is fairly light right now, but predicted to go on through Tuesday. Fruiting trees seem to do OK, but shrubs such as saskatoons and raspberries may suffer. Short bloom season this year due to heat & wind.
