I see a lot of @Polymarket strategy bots, but very few bots actually training on historical data.

So far, @pudgy3588 has collected 8 days of data from BTC 5-minute and 15-minute markets.

He then used this data to build three different models that are currently running in paper trading.

He’ll later select the most profitable one to trade with a $1,000 capital.

Not going to tell you he’ll turn $1K into $1M, I barely understand everything he’s doing right now, but he’s building fully in public and documenting the entire process.

The three models he designed are interesting:

> The first model detects divergence between the real market price and a fair value derived from training on past data. It only trades within the [0.45–0.55] range and waits for resolution.

> Classif3 Bot is somewhat similar but trades across any range whenever it detects a difference between fair value and market price.

> The RL bot was trained using a Deep Q-Network. Basically, it replayed collected rounds thousands of times, receiving rewards or penalties based on its decisions. This allowed it to develop an optimized neural network used for new rounds.

I initially thought the RL bot would be the most profitable, it’s technically the most advanced, but it seems that a more conservative approach combined with an edge derived from past data analysis is currently outperforming it.

Pudgy3588 will likely let the paper trading run for another 24–48 hours before moving to live trading.

And for those saying paper trading isn’t representative, it actually is. All orders are executed as takers, meaning the logic already accounts for ~1.5% fees and spread conditions: if the spread becomes too impactful, the order simply isn’t executed.
