🚨 5th Marine Division Proposal 🚨
When I was watching the President’s statement with the SECWAR about the development of new modern battleships I had an idea:
The US Air Force is developing the F-47, the Navy is building the Trump-class battleship - but the Marine Corps has nothing new in development...
Therefore, I propose the development of the 5th Marine Division - stationed not in California, North Carolina or Okinawa but in a new location: Texas. (Potentially NAS Corpus Christi.)
This division would be primarily focused on the southern border/Caribbean (anti-drug/anti-human trafficking) with the new 45th and 47th MEUs under SOUTHCOM. (This new base could also become our new location for our new USMC UAS schoolhouses.)
This would allow other current MEUs to remain touring in the Middle East, Europe, and the Pacific on a regular rotation.
If we are truly preparing for a potential conflict with a near-peer adversary, we will need far more infantry Marines than we have right now.
This administration is obviously serious about peace through strength - with a new focus on the Western Hemisphere. In order to accomplish this, we need more Marines stationed in close proximity to both the southern boarder and the Caribbean in order to avoid mission fatigue in our other theaters (and decrease the logistics required to transport these Marines to the SOUTHCOM AO). The 5th Marine Divison would give us another ≈ 20,000 Marines for the new 45th and 47th MEUs with this new focus at the forefront.
Just a thought from a Lt.

The defense just confirmed in open court that the hold out juror is a man. It's one sane man against two simps and nine girlbosses. Hold the line, sir.
Our men and women in uniform are the best our country has to offer. That has always been true, and it remains true today.
They are proud to serve the American people and especially proud to serve knowing they are backed by their leadership, from our @POTUS to our @SecWar .
Hello @DanLamothe:
This is Tom Anderson here. I am the purveyor of the popular social media commentary account, “Cynical Publius.”
I am working on an article regarding the extreme lack of ethical behavior by modern American legacy media outlets such as your employer, the Washington Post.
The Washington Post recently published an article with your byline where the personally identifiable information (“PII”) of certain alleged service providers to the Department of War was publicly revealed. In a separate, private communication you stated that you had obtained all or some of that information via the “Pentagon system.” Since you are a private citizen who has no authorized access to such system, I can only assume that a federal employee (the “Leaker”) provided you with unauthorized access to data from such system.
I was hoping you could answer a few questions regarding this matter:
1. If you solicited such information from the Leaker, did you advise the Leaker that the unauthorized release of PII is potentially a criminal misdemeanor under 5 U.S.C. § 552a?
2. What is the Leaker’s identity? If there is no Leaker, how did you gain access to the "Pentagon system"?
3. Do you have any moral qualms over the popular journalistic practice of soliciting information from a federal employee that could potentially lead to his or her imprisonment?
4. Does your employer condone the practice of journalists soliciting criminal behavior from federal employees? Is this standard practice for the Washington Post?
5. Assuming the Leaker provided you with the unauthorized PII, did you pay the Leaker any money or otherwise make promises of remuneration in exchange for the information you obtained?
6. You have been a vocal opponent of the Pentagon limiting unaccompanied Pentagon access for journalists. One of the Pentagon’s stated reasons for this policy is to prevent journalists from soliciting criminal behavior from federal employees. Do you still oppose limiting unaccompanied journalist access to the Pentagon?
I would be most appreciative if you could provide answers to these questions, as well as any other comments you may have on the matter, by 4:00 pm Eastern today.
Best regards,
Tom Anderson
@SECNAV will make an amazing Secretary of the Navy. He is a longtime friend, and after working with him on several important projects, including bringing a Navy ROTC program to Liberty University, I know firsthand he is a man of results. I look forward to seeing all the great work he will accomplish in this new role.
I am one man.
All by myself, I am a vocal reformer for all that was wrong in the pre-Hegseth Department of War.
Other than my brief tenure helping out the Department of War in the Senior Service College Task Force, I have no affiliations other than working for myself.
Now read what I wrote below and understand that the people defaming me have ALL the affiliations. The entire military-related media/academia/NGO/thinktank complex is behind this effort to stall necessary reform and smear anyone who stands up and attempts to make a difference.
Once again: "You could stand me up at the gates of Hell but I won't back down."
For the ground pounders. The Infantry. The other units that have exchanged fire with the enemy eye to eye.
A sad reminder:
Politicians, the media, and even civilians, will only love you when you’re dead and they can get a headline from it.
If you stand up for what’s right. If you worship truth over lies. If you literally take care of your people instead of the narrative. You will be crushed.
You can be a drunk, criminal, fraudster, pedo, abuser. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Marxist or Marxist sympathizer. None of it does. You’re good to go. Cherished even.
But if you just do what’s right by the oath? The country? Your brothers and sisters? The TRUTH?
Well kiss it goodbye. Because it’s over.
Or is it?
What I just described is the playbook for 2024 and before. Where a single hit piece could kill a man. Where an accusation could do all the work and end your life before it starts. Even if you went to battle and returned.
Ideologues have cried wolf for too long. Their claims of misconduct too broad. They dug too greedily and too deep in the mountain of ideology and tried destroying everyone that didn’t agree with their demonic thinking.
I know I have a platform now. I have people bitching about me on the news. Making hit pieces. Hell, I’m not the only one.
To them, I mean this emphatically: fuck you, no.
You’re not going to intimidate us anymore. You can’t.
You can’t kill us because we’re already dead inside. And the only thing we are animated to do, is undo the unamerican division you’ve sown in the military and the nation.
Cope if you want. Seethe if you must. But what’s happening is inevitable.
You did this. And you can’t undo it. No amount of sobbing in the media will help.
There is no escape.
STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE KIRK FAMILY:
Today’s decision, which comes nearly a year since Charlie was taken from us, marks an important step in our family’s pursuit of justice for him.
Every step in this process carries the weight of all that Charlie’s murder has taken from his family, especially his children who will grow up without their father. We are grateful to all who have continued to pray for us, support us, and stand with us through a year of unimaginable grief.
As the next phase of the judicial process begins, our family remains united in our love for Charlie, our commitment to the pursuit of justice, and our prayer for a transparent and timely process.
@POTUS Thank you, Mr. President. It’s an honor of a lifetime to lead the great warriors of the Navy and Marine Corps team. I’m grateful for your leadership and support as we continue to get after shipbuilding and ensure the defense of the homeland.
Cenk’s theory requires you to believe the United States has aircraft carriers, satellites, nuclear weapons, 330 million people, the Pentagon, CIA, NSA, Congress and a $1 trillion defense apparatus…
…but absolutely no free will.
Iran attacks Americans?
Israel made them respond.
Iran attacks Israelis?
Israel somehow benefits from being attacked.
America chooses military action?
Must be the Jews with the Venmo.
@HansonBarry Honestly, you all didn’t say a word when we had absolute insanity going on in the military a couple years ago. I don’t want to hear it from you.
