Sr citizens neglected by Govt. PSBs Pension updation pending for decades/Gratuity@20 lacs wef 01012016 for all sectors - dragged by 4 Pillars of Democracy.They toiled for nation building & paid taxes but given a raw deal by Govt.

I retired from Pvt Co in Dec'17. Lost the benefits of Rs.20L due to GAA2018. Request to renotify GAA wef 01-01-2016 at par with Govt employees. My company will release the balance amount once GAA is renotified.

It is going to really matter in the forthcoming election. Sr Citizens especially retirees are highly frustrated & may definitely influence others to against NDAs favour. Pl pursue genuine demands only and act immediately before notification of election. Act before it is too late.

In the past 9 years NDA Govt has done nothing for Senior Citizens be it Income Tax Rebate or Rail Travel concession or Pension updation of bankers or Insurance Premia concession with lesser GST rates/Zero GST. NDA is going to seek out votes for a 3rd Term at office in Center.

Senior Citizens' genuine demand of increased gratuity which is a social security benefits has not been considered on priority and our representations through various modes have become futile & NDA Govt has least respect for Sr Citizens who served the country besides paying tax.

Nearly 1.5 lacs of Sr. Citizen Retirees who are covered under PG ACT had signed a petition demanding enhanced Gratuity WEF 01012016 @ Central Government Employees. Demand made during NDA 1, followed up during NDA2 also. But nothing has been done for Senior Citizens so far.
