A good trip to @leektown today with @GuiseleyAFC. Cracking stadium and hard fought draw. Enjoyed the privilege of commentating on @GuiseleyRadio (listeners may not have). On the way we visited @AvroMuseum to see a #Vulcan - a plane that my Grandad flew in. Quite a day.

Two great Christmas presents. Not come across Graham Coster’s brilliant Nature of Cricket before. Would have been great reference for my Trees in Stadia article in @WSC_magazine 442. By coincidence @StephenMoss_TV is a friend of Coster and referenced in it. Recommend both!

Awful weather for @GuiseleyAFC v @stockton_townfc today - took refuge in the George Stocks stand where the away fans were. Thought they were good value! Berated the linesman over an offside only for the official to bear a cheek in return. Another contest that ended one each!

Nice that as a gesture of goodwill your parking firm are only charging us £40 to shop with you.

Our goodwill gesture will be to do our supermarket shop elsewhere from now on.

A month ago @GuiseleyAFC were sweltering in the sun away at @ilkestontown_fc - now we face a blank day with @Matlock_TownFC’s pitch frozen. So off to see Gladiator II in the cinema this afternoon. On current form I’m expecting Lucius to have no chance against any Lions.
