Mentality

Mental grit club.

To the men rebuilding quietly.
No rich parents. No applause.

Your time is coming.

Stay locked in.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

a car ‘flew’.

some men felt ambition and inspiration.
some men opened a thread to explain why it doesn't count.

you become whichever one you sit next to.

this post is not about cars.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

the punishment of ungodly desire is the agony of unfulfillment.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

wife sips coffee in the kitchen.
son plays nearby.
dog rests at your feet, house quiet.

this is what it looks like when it finally pays off.

not designer clothes. not followers.

a peaceful house & a family that never had to worry: because you did all the worrying for them.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

every phase of you is necessary.

a thousand rebirths in a single lifetime.

that’s what it takes.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

before anything big, think one question:

“what's the worst that can happen?”

then sit with it. picture it. accept it.

once you've made peace with the floor, there's nothing left to fear.

all that's left is the work.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

Please God. Save my soul.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

you forgot why you started.

it wasn't likes.
it wasn't respect at the party.
it wasn't so your ex would see.

it was the 11 year old who decided he'd be somebody.
it was your mom working doubles.

that's who you owe. not them.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

"floor setting."

decide the worst case before you start.

accept it fully.

now every outcome above it is a win, and your mind has nothing left to chew on.

nothing left to overthink.

you stop thinking. you just move.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

thank God in advance and watch what happens to your fear. it’s the strangest thing. the worry doesn’t survive the gratitude. you can’t hold both. a man who thanks God for the unseen future is a man who stopped being ruled by it.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

what pull-ups actually build:

grip that makes people wince
a back that fills a doorway
shoulders that carry everything else
forearms that don’t quit in round 3
the only vanity muscle that’s also a survival one.

train the pull bro

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

this could be the last season you struggle. so struggle on purpose. force the change.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

thankful to God in advance for what’s about to unfold.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

you’re literally thinking too much wondering why you’re not where you want to be.

it’s simple. burn the boats.

sept 1st. winter arc, for men who already lift: keep the lifting. add 3 runs a week. get on a mat by october :

boxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu, pick one.
one skill learned in the dark. the body was step one. this is the rest of the puzzle. 120 days.

september 1st.

sept 1st : Winter Arc

start early. start now. decide right now that the man who walks out of this winter is not the one who walked in. then move with such boring, daily, unreasonable consistency for 120 days that march has no choice but to hand him over.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

weak men pray for a lighter load. strong men pray for a stronger back. same God, same weight, different lives. one spends forever waiting for it to get easier. the other gets to work becoming someone it can't crush. stop asking for an easier life. ask for broader shoulders.

[Mentality @MentalityOG]

I have a sad story too.

No one cares, work harder.
