Office life before the advent of AutoCAD and similar drafting software was marked by a reliance on manual methods. Preceding AutoCAD's introduction in 1982, engineers painstakingly crafted drawings by hand, utilizing a variety of pencils, erasers, T-squares, and set squares. In the event of any modifications being necessary, engineers and drafters had to commence anew, recreating their sketches entirely. Presently, architecture designers and drafters predominantly use their mouse and keyboard, sparing themselves from the physical toil and uncertainty associated with anticipating alterations to their final drafts.
