I have been playing Warhammer 40k space marine 2 |and I have to say it is one of the best games I have played this year. We really need more games like Space marine 2, Stellar blade and dragon's dogma 2 and Less bullshit like dragon age veilguard.

SONY is sending out emails updating and reminding people of their PlayStation terms. short version what it says:

- You don't own your digital games, you rent a license
- If a account closed or banned your games are gone, even paid ones
- PlayStation can record your chats, clips, ip address
- Clips you share, they can sell and put ads on and you get no cut
- their liability is capped at £100! This means if Sony screws something up and it costs you money, the most they'll pay you back is £100, no matter how much you actually lost

Many countries around the world have much higher demand for physical games🚀

✅As reported yesterday, Resident Evil Requiem sold over 50% physical in France and Japan and over %40 in UK and Australia

✅Over 64% of countries don’t have a dedicated PlayStation Store

Physical games are NOT a niche market, and even in places where physical sales are 20%, that’s still millions of people bringing in billions in revenue.

The numbers don’t lie, just don’t engineer them to tell the pro-greed pro-monopoly story Sony and Rockstar are trying to sell you.

Once again, our call for physical media isn’t just about collecting discs because we’re used to them since our childhood, it’s about the principle of ownership, options and access🚀

The entertainment industry is changing as a whole, and not for the better:

❌Digital purchases disappear w/o refund
❌Access hindered by network outage
❌Accounts can be compromised
❌Lack of alternatives lead to high pricing

We are not calling for the end of digital media, we are calling for maintaining physical media and more protections for digital media owners, the same way music, film and books are.

NO DISC 💿 NO BUY is about pressuring corporations to continue to offer the physical alternative, rather than ending digital purchases.

We are refusing to buy digital games for the time being until this new plan is overturned. That is the objective.

Please direct your frustrations at corporations who are charging you more for less, rather than splitting hairs to attack your fellow gamers who mean no harm to you.

No sé si os pasa pero desde el anuncio de Sony siento que me han mermado la ilusión por los videojuegos un montón.

Sigo jugando con amigos, sobre todo a FFXIV y tengo mi backlog listo con Xenoblade 2 para Switch 2 en cabeza, mis planes para esta próxima temporada con Resonance, Evercold y Revelation y todo, pero me sabe tan mal lo que le están haciendo a la industria que no puedo evitar que se me oscurezca un poco la experiencia.

Conste que tengo mucha fe en que podemos cambiar las cosas y estoy muy volcado con la revuelta, eso no creo que haga falta decirlo a estas alturas, solo siento que todo lo que está pasando es una pena y duele ver a gran parte de la comunidad gamer tan desconectada, tan egoísta y pasota, con lo serio e importante que es todo lo que sucede y lo que las empresas están haciéndonos estos días.

Sé que es inevitable, todo tiene su proceso y aún así vamos por buen camino igualmente pero no le quita que al vernos en esta realidad tan distópica y por qué no decirlo, inhumana, me esté sintiendo muy fuera de lugar.

We need GTA 6 to flop so bad, just as a gamer and customer level. I've gotten 100% plat(Less than 0.05%) for both GTA 5 and 4 and I'm saying this.

I will not be preordering this, I have plenty of other games in my backlog. They can take their "digital future" and shove it.
