@paulmdfx My friend Barry Jones had written Vampire Killer on the spectrum and I asked them could I do a cpc version of it and instead of royalties I asked them to buy me a floppy drive for my cpc. They did. I then wrote another game , Skulduggery which they published. I was 13 years old.

@LegendsSpectrum @SpeccyWorldCup @Wizwords @florinthedwarf @zxspectrumguide @RetroBrothers @SpectrumTinted @tobobobo @zx_spectrum_30 @JohnDaviesIndo So Barry Jones, i was his coding partner - i was around 13 at the time, he would develop the games, and I would convert them to the Amstrad CPC. And then we developed a few games together like comet encounter. Fun fun times.. I'm still in regular contact with him.

@P1Europe When we do an install we have to pay to send an engineer out, travelling time, petrol etc. Which is why a contract is in place.

[Mercury Internet @MercuryInternet]

@P1Europe Did you sign a permanence agreement for a year in exchange of a reduced or free install? If you move we both lose.

Big thanks to our friends at Conecta4 and Acox for their help after landslide on alpujata mountain and lightning strikes caused us all probs

[Mercury Internet @MercuryInternet]

Hopefully the terrible weather is now abating. Lightning strikes have caused misery with power supplies and fried radios.

Crazy day. Dug a 100 metre trench by hand. Then had a guy sat on my shoulders sledgehammering a post into the ground. In the dark. Weird.
